The sideway moving mechanism of the BC-2 slitter unit features proprietary technology developed by Maysun that incorporates an endless steel belt and clutch to prevent jamming caused by paper powder. After movement, an absolute position sensor using ultrasound and magnetism measures the position to automatically fine-tune the equipment to its specified position. This method offers high positional accuracy.

The BC-2 slitter unit has a structure that allows for automatic operation through NC control as well as manual operation. Users can switch between automatic and manual operation using a switch located in the operation box. The slitter unit can be easily operated manually at the touch of a finger. Just another example of Maysun’s proprietary technology, the structure is effective during maintenance, such as the exchange of slitter blades. By switching back from manual to automatic operation, the absolute position sensor will immediately return the equipment to its specified position.
